Email Pattern Finder

Email pattern discovery is a technique that identifies the email format structure used by a company based on known contacts. For example, if we know that John Smith at Company ABC uses "john.smith@company.com", we can infer that their pattern is likely "{first}.{last}@domain.com".

This tool analyzes public directory information and common naming conventions to suggest the most likely email format for any company, helping you reach the right person with confidence.

A "catch-all" domain is configured to accept emails sent to any address at that domain, even if the specific email address doesn't actually exist. For example, sending to "nonexistent@company.com" would still be accepted by their mail server.

Why this matters: If a domain uses catch-all, it's harder to verify whether a specific email pattern is accurate since the server accepts everything. You'll see a yellow "Catch-All Domain" badge when this is detected.

Non-catch-all domains are more reliable because they only accept valid email addresses, giving us higher confidence in the discovered pattern.
